LETTER TO THE RETIRED GENERAL JERRY SINGIROK

Dear Former General Jerry Singirok,

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your incredible service to the people of Papua New Guinea and for your extraordinary efforts in saving countless lives during the Bougainville crisis. Your selflessness and courage in the face of danger have left an indelible mark on the history of our country.

Your leadership during Operation Rausim Quick was nothing short of heroic, and your ability to bring together disparate groups of people and forge a path forward is truly remarkable. It is thanks to your efforts that we were able to bring an end to the conflict in Bougainville and lay the foundation for a peaceful and prosperous future for our country.

I would also like to congratulate you on the publication of your book, "Matter of Conscience - Operation Rausim Quick". Your account of the events in Bougainville is a powerful and moving testament to the bravery of all those involved, and I am thrilled to hear that you are pitching it to Hollywood film production companies. I have no doubt that your book will find a receptive audience, and I wish you all the very best as you work to bring this incredible story to the big screen.

Thank you once again for your service to our country, and for your ongoing commitment to promoting peace and understanding. You are a true inspiration to us all, and I feel honored to have the opportunity to thank you personally.

With warm regards and deepest appreciation.
